Like other axanthic traits, Black Axanthic hatchlings are born showing bright silver and black coloration, with the silvers gradually browning out as they mature to adulthood. Black Axanthics show similar alien head shapes and style to normal ball pythons, however, they are often darkened or “shadowy”.

Black Axanthic heads are dark chocolatey brown with little to no headstamp or variations in color.

Body

The body can range from solid black to a slightly dark brown coloration.

Belly

Black Axanthics have white bellies.

Tail

The tail shows a similar patterning and coloration to the body of the snake.
