    History

The matriarch of the Oriole trait was bought from a pet store, probably sometime around 2009-2010, and then surrendered in 2012 as a rescue/rehabilitation. She was bred to an Enchi male and produced the first Orioles and Oriole Enchi. The trait has since been combined with albino as well.

It was submitted to WOBP in 2014 as ‘Banshee’, but not accepted because of conflict with the Phantom combo. However, the combo ‘Banshee Enchi’ was accepted erroneously. Resubmitted to WOBP as a correction to ‘Oriole’ - Branon Rochelle

    Appearance

    Head

The head of an Oriole Ball Python is topped with a golden/orange crown and blushing towards the neck.

    Body

The Oriole mutation is a color enhancer. It intensifies oranges, increases banding, reduces pattern, and has orange color all the way to the ventral scutes. It interacts differently with Enchi than a Super Enchi.

    Belly

Oriole lacks the train tracks of Orange Dream.

    Tail

The tail of the Oriole Ball Python follows the same patterning as the rest of the body.
