The Christmas Hypo is a leaky genetic. It seems to have pretty much the same effect as a normal Hypo but allows some of the melanin back in.
An adult Christmas is a deep red colour that generally darkens towards the tail. The black outlining of the saddles gets broader the further down the snake you go. As the snake matures, it darkens in its overall appearance.
