About
Here at Amzotic Reptiles, we are a small hobbyist breeder currently working in Portsmouth, UK. Currently working with Orange Ghosts, Clowns and Cinnamons. Amy has experience working with all sorts of animals but created Amzotic Reptiles as her passion came out when buying her first crested gecko. Amzotic Reptiles will at first be focusing on ball pythons to make an entrance into the world of hobbyist reptile breeding however, we do have a small collection of crested geckos which will be introduced into the breeding plans in 2023/2024. The main aim of Amzotic Reptiles is to breed healthy animals with a high standard of welfare in mind. We will mostly be focusing on ball pythons and crested geckos.
Amy is currently studying a level 2 qualification in animal care, a level 3 qualification in exotic animal care and a level 4 qualification in animal welfare. Although Amy has been caring and keeping animals since being young, she is doing the qualifications to have some official educational background. Amy has worked with reptiles in her previous jobs and created Amzotic Reptiles to go independent and work towards projects which she can put her time and energy into and be able to keep exotics in an environment that she feels benefits their safety and wellbeing. Amy has high standards when it comes to her animals, and always strives to go the extra mile for them.
Store Policy
Deposits - Every animal will require a deposit in order to be placed on hold. Deposits can be between 20-25% of the animals price.
Payment Plans - We do accept payment plans on all animals, no matter the price. Payment plans can go between 2-6 months and still require the 20-25% deposit up front.
Purchasing - All of our animals receive a birth certificate when they are born. There are two copies of these, one which stays with the breeder and one which goes with the animal to the buyer. This is to ensure that a record of genes is kept and so that animals can be traced with regards to their morph and family trees. The animal will come with their birth certificate in a physical and digital form for your records too. We do ask politely that if you ever need to sell the animal due to unforeseen reasons, such as sizing down or not being able to keep them any more, that we have first refusal on buying the animal back. We are a small breeder, but we like to make sure that our animals go onto nice forever homes. In the event that you are buying to breed the animal, then we totally understand if you wish to sell the animal on, all we ask are that homes are vetted to make sure that the animal is going to a suitable enclosure.
Military and Emergency Services - Military and emergency services personnel receive a 10% discount off of the animals purchase price (ID proof required). This is a special thank you for your service and protection.
