About
ABCresites is a small hobby breeder specializing in New Caledonian Geckos. All animals available from ABCresties are captive breed here at our home in Florida (unless specified in description). We work diligently to provide healthy well established geckos for hobbyist, collectors, breeders and first time reptile owners. We have been working with all types of reptiles for 20+ years and started working exclusively with geckos in 2014. ABCresties does not and will not sell hatchling geckos. All geckos are held for a minimum of three to six months from the documented hatch date and housed individually to ensure each one is appropriately eating, shedding and growing. ABCresties feeds primarily Pangea Gecko Diet. When that particular food is not available we use whichever flavor Pangea Gecko Diet is available. We have seen geckos stop eating for a few days when switching flavors but then start eating the new flavor without issue.

Store Policy
ABCresties accepts all major Credit/Debit cards via Square. After contacting us to purchase we will send an invoice to make payment. All geckos are the price listed plus shipping and convenience fee. Multiple geckos can be shipped in the same box. If a customer spends $500+ before fees the gecko(s) ship free. The free shipping is only available on each transaction, previous purchases do not count toward the $500 qualification. Please contact us with any questions regarding fees.
Deposits and "hold" geckos: Payment plans are accepted with a 25% non-refundable deposit. Payment plans are only offered on geckos $500 or more. Full payment must be made within 60 days of original deposit date. If the gecko is not paid in full by 11:59pm on the 60th day the gecko will be considered abandoned by the buyer and the deposit and payments will not be refunded. We will use Square invoices to structure the payment plan. If we do not hear from the buyer during the payment plan time period and or do not receive payment on the provided invoices the payment plan will be considered void and no refund will be given. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. All sales are final. Listed prices are firm and non negotiable unless specified in text or writing. If a payment plan is needed. Geckos will not be shipped until paid in full(including shipping). If ABCresties is unable to supply the purchased gecko a full refund will be granted.
Sex of a crested gecko is not guaranteed unless over 20 grams. We can check for pores on a crested gecko however that is not 100% accurate.
ABCresties sips only hub to hub HELD FOR PICKUP at your closest FedEx hub location, so the buyer can pick up the package after work/school. If a customer decides they want the animal shipped our hub to an address that is not a hub ALL GUARANTEES are void.
Our shipping days are Monday through Thursday. FedEx does not ship animals on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
We try to ship as soon as possible but weather and other unforeseeable events may vary depending on dates and times. We recommend that you email us to make a decision on what day receiving the gecko works best for you.
Overnight shipping is a FedEx service, not a time frame. We will ship according to the plan agreed upon between the buyer and ABCresties.
SOMEONE MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE ON THE FIRST DELIVERY ATTEMPT or our live arrival guarantee is VOID.
We pack your gecko in the safest and most efficient way possible. All orders for geckos are shipped in a foam lined cardboard box used specifically for shipping reptiles. Depending on weather conditions, we will include an ice or thermal pack at no charge for the safety of the gecko. Temperatures here and at the location the package is being delivered to must be between 45-90. We will hold the animal free of charge if inclement weather causes a delay in shipping. We will notify the buyer and arrange for a future ship date if this is the case. There are no refunds if shipping is delayed due to weather.
ABCresties is not responsible for animal temperament. ABCresties does not refund or recover geckos for being scary, scared, defensive or "aggressive". They need time to adjust to their new environment and you. ABCresties does not refund shipping nor pay for return shipping. ABCresties will be happy to work with you to resolve any problem you may have. Under no circumstances will a refund be processed without the return of the gecko.
Conditions for the Live Arrival Guarantee - NO EXCEPTIONS!
1- Someone must sign the package on the FIRST delivery attempt. If no one signs it, the warranty is void. If you requested that your package be held at your local FedEx station, you must pick it up.
