Badgerland Reptile Rescue is a registered 501c3 animal rescue based in Kenosha, WI. Our organization was established in 2021 to assist in finding homes for unwanted reptiles & amphibians, as well as advocating for the proper husbandry of exotic animals.

Policy

*If you send a message along the lines of "I'd like to buy this animal" or "How much for shipping to (your zip code)?" without first completing an adoption application, we will decline your inquiry.*
GENERAL POLICIES:
- If the listing is Active, the animal has not been adopted.
- Our adoption fees are NOT negotiable.
- We do NOT do trades.
- NO payment plans are offered.
- Shipping is available to APPROVED applicants, but the adopter is responsible for ALL expenses related to shipping.
- We are happy to arrange pickup at local events that our organization is attending. We attend almost all of the NARBC expos and most regional expos in the Wisconsin/northern Illinois region. In rare cases, we can also arrange for an animal to be transported to additional expos if our Board members are attending. You can view what expos we will be attending on our MorphMorph profile under "Upcoming Events"
- If pickup is selected, we require FULL PAYMENT of adoption fees prior to the event. If the animal is not picked up at the event, it is placed back up for adoption and no refunds will be given.
- These animals are intended to be pets, if you are inquiring about the genetic background, morph information, or any hets for a particular animal, we do NOT have that information available for you and will NOT be able to provide it.
- Our goal is to place each animal in our care in its perfect home. We do have minimum standards for adoption. Feel free to check out our Facebook page or website for more information, or ask any questions prior to applying.
- We REQUIRE proof of proper enclosure prior to adoption approval.
