Store Policy

OUR payment plan is as follows What you would need to do is put a 25% non-refundable deposit down on the gecko of your choice and depending on how much it is that is how I determine how long. Usually 500.00 and up I give two months to pay it off anything under 500.00 you get one month to pay it off..I only go through pay pal for payment. No geckos are held, reserved, or promised unless a 25% NONREFUNDABLE deposit is put down on the gecko. All animals must be paid for in full before shipping. There is no charge for animals being held due to weather concerns or delays. It is, however, important to remain in contact so that we can arrange a shipping date. If more than a month goes by without any contact from a buyer, we will consider the purchase void and your deposit forfeited. This is to ensure that we do not hold a gecko for an indefinite amount of time when there are other interested buyers.

If you are going on vacation or have extenuating circumstances that will limit your contact for a period of time, please let us know in advance so that we do not worry that you have fallen off the earth.


Shipping

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box. If you are unable to be at home during regular shipping hours, you can arrange to have you package held at your local FedEx hub upon arrival or have the package delivered to your place of work to insure safe and live arrival.
While we are willing to work flexibly with your schedule, animal safety takes priority over your or our convenience in receiving or sending. We will check the weather at your zip code before mailing any of our animals so that we can ship in optimal conditions of 40 to 80 degrees F. Our animals will be shipped to you in an insulated box with appropriate usage of heat and cold packs as necessary. If at all possible, temperatures at hubs along the shipping route will also be considered before shipping is arranged.

We ship Monday-Wednesday (Monday night for a Tuesday delivery, Tuesday night for Wednesday delivery, or Wednesday night for Thursday delivery) to help ensure that a gecko is not stuck at a hub over the weekend.

Payment is accepted through Paypal. We will verify your shipping address with you before shipment and also ask that you have a contact phone number available to add to the package.

If you are stuck waiting on a gecko shipment due to weather, please feel comfortable asking for updates on your gecko; even if it takes me a few days to get photos, I can very easily keep you posted on its weight and feeding habits (and will likely initiate such updates myself).
Shipping is to the continental US (lower 48 states) only, at this time.


Health Guarantee

We offer a one-week health guarantee on all geckos; if your gecko falls ill within the first week,Then return the gecko to us, picture of proof the gecko died we will provide a replacement gecko at the same cost.

If you have your gecko shipped to your house, someone MUST be available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt or guarantee will be void. Upon delivery, you must contact us via e-mail, phone, or Facebook within one hour to let us know the package was received, or this health guarantee is null and void; leaving a gecko outside in the weather can be harmful, and we cannot be sure that you collected your animal during delivery without this confirmation. This policy is in place to protect our animals.

This health guarantee does not include outside injuries. Examples of injuries we do not cover include, but are not limited to: choking on substrate or feeder insects that are too large; injury from falls; getting caught in an enclosure door; attacks from cage mates or other pets; burns; drowning; exposure to unsafe temperatures; and tail loss. Because of this, refunds may be subject to questions about your husbandry practices as well as photo or video proof of injury or death.

We cannot provide refunds for animals that are not quarantined in individual housing upon their arrival to their new home; please give your new gecko an enclosure of his own so that you can monitor his/her health, food intake, and poop, and so that s/he has as little stress during this transition as possible.

In the very rare event that an animal was to arrive DOA, a refund will be provided with proof of death (clear photos, video, or return of the body, at our discretion). Creepyexotics is not responsible if a gecko drops its tail during shipping, but we can assure you that the gecko’s genetics remain the same in the event of a tail loss.

If you have any concerns at all about the health of your animal upon or after its arrival, please contact us right away. If you find your gecko to fall ill at any point after the initial one-week guarantee period, please contact us so that we can see what we can do to help. We do not guarantee overseas delivery. We only guarantee delivery to where we ship the gecko before they go to another country.
