BK Hogs is a father and son owned and operated breeding business specializing in hognose snakes. Started by Brett and Kylan Grover in 2022.

Our goal at BK Hogs is to provide a seamless, customer-oriented experience. We want all of our customers to love their purchase.

By making a purchase from BK Hogs you agree that you are 18 or older and that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions.
PAYMENT:
- Payment must be made in full before the animal will be shipped.
- We accept PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp.
- We accept PayPal Goods & Services, and Venmo for Purchases with 3% of the order value added to the payment to cover the fee incurred.
- We accept cash for local pickups.
PAYMENT PLAN TERMS:
- We offer payment plans at the buyer’s request.
- We require a 30% non-refundable down payment to start the payment plan.
- The full balance of the account must be paid in 30 days or in 60 days with a $20 holding/keeping fee added to the balance.
- The animal will be shipped after the final payment has been made.
- Account balances can not be transferred to another animal.
- Delinquent accounts that go unpaid for longer than the agreed upon time frame are unable to be refunded and will be voided.
SHIPPING:
- We can ship our animals anywhere in the continental United States.
- We ship on any Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday for pickup the next morning. We will ship around your schedule so let us know what works for you!
- Shipping cost is estimated when the buyer provides their zip code. The cost of shipping is usually between $50-$110 before insurance if applicable.
- We ship through Redline Shipping with optional live arrival insurance. The service that we use is FedEx Priority Overnight Express Shipping. We can only ship to your closest FedEx facility for the animals safety. The animal will be ready for pickup at or before 10:30 AM on the day of arrival.
- Insurance costs an extra $2.50 for every $100 that is insured.
- We offer live arrival insurance as an option and not standard due to the fact that it is rarely a useful service. For live arrival insurance to be valid the package must also be late which is rare on its own. Every time we ship an animal we make sure that they are packaged as well as possible with a heat/cool pack when necessary causing DOA (dead on arrival) cases to be exceedingly rare. Some people will only buy an animal if it is insured so we provide that option. We have never had an animal die in shipment.
- With that being said choosing not to add insurance to your shipment means that we are no longer liable for anything that happens during shipment including DOA.
- In the case of DOA caused by late arrival on a package that has insurance you must contact us or Redline Shipping within 4 hours of the animal being ready for pickup.
SHIPPING TEMPERATURE AND HOLIDAY RESTRICTIONS:
- We will not ship an animal when the daytime high at either the sending or receiving location is below 38°F or above 100°F.
- These guidelines apply on both the sending and receiving date.
- There are no exceptions for these restrictions. They are set with the animal’s safety in mind.
- There is a no ship period from early/mid December into January when the holidays are at their peak. We will not ship during this period because delays are common and the weather is usually too cold for an animal to survive a delay.
SEX AND MORPH GUARANTEE
- We try our very best to successfully sex our animals but mistakes can be made. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery if you have any concerns regarding the sex of your animal.
- We guarantee that the morph you see is the morph you get. We can provide the pairings and parent’s genetics to confirm.

-Please research the local laws and regulations regarding hognose snakes where you live. BK Hogs will not be held liable for any issues or fines incurred by not doing your research. For example if you live in Illinois and come to buy a hognose from us we will assume that you have already acquired the necessary permit to keep them.
