My name is Matty, I've been into reptiles all my life really but I never started keeping until 2017. Since then I’ve owned and cared for many different types of species and eventually settled on ball pythons. I hatched my first clutch in 2022 and I haven’t looked back since. Store Policy

Cape Snakes Terms of Sale:



Payment: Cash (Local Pick up only) Venmo or Paypal is accepted as payment. No other payment methods will be accepted.



Holding Fees: In order to put a snake(s) on hold, a non-refundable 20% down payment must be placed for a 30 day hold period. PLEASE NOTE: A Snake will NOT be placed on hold until this payment is received. Full payment is due at 30 days. If the animal(s) is not paid in FULL by the end of the 30 day hold period, or the transaction has not been cancelled, the FULL 20% holding fee will be forfeit and the animal will be placed back for sale. (Note: If the customer decides to cancel the transaction during the 30 day holding period, HALF of the 20% deposit amount will be refunded.)



Cancellations/Refunds: If the transaction for the animal(s) is cancelled 25% of the price of the gecko(s) is NON-REFUNDABLE. Cancellations are only available during 30 day holding periods. ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL.
(Note: If the customer decides to switch from purchasing one snake to another, it will be treated as a cancellation and 25% of the original animal(s) price is NON-REFUNDABLE. The customer should make sure that they are 100% committed to the animal before making a payment.)



Shipping: ALL shipping and handling costs are to be paid by the customer, unless otherwise stated. Cape Snakes will NOT SHIP if conditions are above 90 degrees or below 38 degrees. Cape Snakes will ONLY ship to Hubs unless otherwise agreed upon. Snakes will only be shipped at the discretion of Cape Snakes when all shipping conditions are met. IMPORTANT: Someone must be available to accept the package if shipped to your home/Hub. In the very rare case of a DOA animal, Cape Snakes must be notified within 1 HOUR of arrival and pictures will be required. The animal can be replaced with another comparable animal or with a full refund (minus shipping). If the customer fails to notify Cape Snakes within 1 HOUR that the animal has been received or is DOA, this guarantee is null and void. Cape Snakes is not responsible for any carrier delays or mishandlings. Cape Snakes is not responsible for replacing an animal for any health issues that may occur due to poor husbandry or any other outside injuries after the animal is in the customer’s possession.

Wholesale Policy

Since wholesale pricing is considerably less that market value our policy states you must buy 3 or more animals and shipping will not be included in purchase. No payment plans offered on wholesale purchases. Also, If you chose a method of payment that has service fees for wholesale purchases those will be included in total price as well. All other guaranteed health and genetics policy are the same as our normal policy. They are still well cared for and love animals, we have just decided some will be available for wholesale for reptile shops and mass collectors
