Store Policy
We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer if they are not fit to purchase an animal
We are only willing to sell our animals to good and qualified homes!
We will only sell you an animal if it is legal to obtain in your state or if you have the necessary documentation to obtain one!
Payments:
All prices are listed in USD
Payments will only be accepted via paypal, venmo, cash, cash app, or zelle
Payments sent through paypal must be sent via friends and family or if they are sent through business, 3% will be added onto the total cost in order to cover fees
All purchases require a non refundable deposit of 25% of the total
Payment plans are available for animals totaling over $300 (not including shipping) and will last a total of 6 weeks.
They work as follows:
- 25% non refundable down to hold the animal
- 25% every 2 weeks until full amount has been paid off
If the full amount has not been paid off at the end of the 6 weeks the animal will be relisted for sale and the deposit will NOT be refunded
Animals will not be held until a deposit has been placed
If you decide to opt out of purchasing the animal we will NOT refund the initial deposit
We do not offer credits!
if you decide not to purchase an animal the deposit is NOT transferable to another animal
Shipping:
Listed prices do not include shipping
Shipping varies depending on location and a quote can be provided via a zip code
Generally cost will be between 40-70 but are subject to be more or less
The quoted amount will be added onto the listing price for a total
We only ship priority overnight shipping via ReptilesExpress
We only ship on the following days; Tuesdays and Wednesdays
We ship when we deem it safe for the animal
This is dependent on a variety of factors including size, weight, meals, weather, current fedex hub status, etc, deposits must be put down to hold an animal until it is safe for the animal to ship and the total must be paid prior to the animal being shipped out
We only ship if the customer guarantees that someone will be home to receive the package or able to pick up the package from a fedex hub promptly after its arrival
Due to Covid 19 Fedex and third party shippers are no longer guaranteeing delivery times therefore we are not able to offer shipping refunds on late arrivals
We do not claim responsibility for fedex delays although we will do our best to work with fedex and our shipping company to get your animal to you as soon as possible
Shipping factors:
Weather
We ship with a heatback between temps of 45 and 70 F
We ship with no heat/cold pack between temps of 70 and 85 F
We ship with a cold pack between 85-95 F
We will not ship between temps under 45 or above 95 F
Meals
For Snakes: We will not ship before the snake has taken a total of 10 consecutive unscented meals
Weights
For Geckos: We will not ship until the gecko has reached 15grams
Hub Status
FedEx hubs can be prone to being backed up therefore we reserve the right to delay shipment if there has been any alert regarding delays/problems at the hubs
Guarantees:
Health
We guarantee the health of our animals for 12h hours. Issues resulting from improper husbandry or accidents are exempt from our guarantee. Please be sure to keep your enclosures closed and other animals away from the enclosure. Please make sure your animal doesn’t overheat and is properly hydrated and has access to food and all other necessities.
Alongside your animal we will provide up to date weights/feedings/ as well as all other necessary or requested information :)
We advocate for quarantine! Please quarantine all new arrivals including animals purchased from us. Although we are confident in the health and well being of our animals this is always a good procedure to practice - this protects your collection and your new arrivals!
Arrival
Animals are guaranteed to arrive alive and in good health. If there are any problems with your purchase, including, but not limited to death on arrival, we must be made aware of any issues within 30 minutes of arrival. Photographic/Video proof of complaint must be provided before a store credit or a replacement animal is given. Cash refunds will not be issued. MBT Exotics is not responsible for any carrier delays or mishandling of the package. Please notify us of an animal arriving within 30 minutes no matter what! We care about these animals and we worry when shipping them and would love to know they’re safe once they arrive!
In the sad event of a DOA we must be contacted within 30 minutes of delivery with photos and/or videographic evidence of the animal's death. In the unfortunate event of a DOA we can offer a replacement animal of the same value of the one purchased or a store credit towards another gecko of the same value.
Tails:
Although unlikely if an animal drops its tail during shipment we will not offer a refund
All guarantees are void if the customer is not home to bring in the package at the time in which fedex delivers it or if the animal is not picked up from the hub within 1 hour of delivery
MorphMarket's Default Store Policy
specifies any terms which have not been overridden by this Seller's stated policy.
