Glennie Geckos is a new reptile breeding business located in Northern MI. I have been breeding geckos for about 4 years now and have learned so much! I am excited to share with the community what I've been able to create. We are honest, hard working, sincere, and kind people here at Glennie Geckos LLC. We take pride in our work, and our animals. The care and health, and overall wellbeing of our geckos is what matters most to us. WE LOVE OUR GECKOS! And we hope that you love them too. Store Policy
PAYMENT
We accept VENMO, CashApp, PayPal, money orders, and cashier's checks. You can also pay with credit cards over the phone. All forms of payment must clear before we create a shipping label.
We have payment plans for purchases over $100. To hold a gecko, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required. Full payment is required within 90 days or any further payments will be forfeit. Payments can be applied to another gecko at our discretion.
NO RESELLING OR FLIPPING OF ANY GECKOS FOR IMMEDIATE PROFIT. I MUST BE CONTACTED BEFORE SELLING TO ANYONE.
A sale can be refused if I feel it is unethical. Harassment, bullying, or solicitation of any kind is not allowed. No refund will be given for a refused sale, however, a credit may be given.
SHIPPING
Once we receive full payment, we ship to the nearest HUB LOCATION for Redline or FedEx. Shipping occurs from Monday to Wednesday for next-day delivery. This is only when temperatures stay between 35°F and 85°F at all locations. We do not ship Thursday or Friday due to delays.
We will hold your animal(s) at no additional charge through prior arrangement when weather conditions do not permit shipping.
Upon shipment of the gecko, tracking information will be emailed to you.
Shipments must be scheduled at least 2 business day in advance. Payment in full including shipping cost is required before shipment will be scheduled.
Shipping internationally is at the buyer's expense. Reptiles Express delivers to Canada, and Direct Dragon Imports delivers to Europe. Other agents are at the buyer's discretion. International shipping carries risks. We can't guarantee the gecko's health after it leaves our premises. We work hard to keep the gecko healthy and safe during shipping. But once it's with the shipper, we can't control its health and safety anymore. We won't work with shippers who can't or won't confirm delivery to finish the deal.
SHIPPING COST
FedEx Express Overnight Shipping is determined by the buyer's location. We do not use MorphMarket to ship our animals; we only use Redline. The seller will not create labels until they receive full payment from the buyer.
Shipping is available anywhere FedEx delivers in the continental United States, including Alaska. We only ship within the continental U.S. Buyers must arrange shipping outside this area. We also do not guarantee health or live delivery.
REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR SHIPPING
You must provide the correct address, email, and phone number. A P.O. Box is not acceptable.
FedEx holds your package at Worldwide Ship Centers and Service Centers for pickup. They will not do this at store locations. If you can't receive a delivery or the weather is bad, choose Hub Pickup. We aren't responsible for deliveries made to the wrong address or delays due to carrier error. Most deliveries are made by 10:30AM, but a remote area may have a later delivery time.
BOARDING
No charge applies for holding animals due to weather concerns or delays. A boarding fee of $10 per week will apply for animals paid in full for animals left at RSG for reasons other than weather safety. Geckos left with us for over 30 days without permission will be seen as abandoned and may be resold.
We also provide boarding for local customers at a cost of $10 for a weekend or $20 per week.
GUARANTEE
Animals are guaranteed to arrive alive and healthy. Please notify us as soon as your gecko arrives to activate your warranty. Failure to contact us will void the warranty. We are not responsible for geckos left in unsafe conditions.
Geckos purchased online come with a one-week health guarantee.
Geckos purchased from a show are considered 'as is'.
Please contact us within an hour of arrival if you notice any issues or serious delivery problems. If an animal is sick or DOA, send us photos within two hours. This is necessary for a replacement or credit for another animal. The animal must also be returned for testing or veterinary care.
If an illness occurs in the first week, please contact us right away and we'll help or replace the animal. Failure to contact us within the week will void any guarantee.
EXCLUSIONS TO THE ONE-WEEK HEALTH GUARANTEE
DEATH DUE TO HEAT EXHAUSTION IS COMMON AND PREVENTABLE.
Do not leave your gecko in any conditions where the temperature is above 85°F without an escape for the gecko. This will result in a fatality and is not covered under the guarantee.
GECKOS CAN DIE DUE TO IMPROPER DIET AND DEHYDRATION.
A varied diet is suggested. You can choose one of these along with domestic crickets or roaches:

Buy feeder insects from a trusted source. They should be small enough to fit between the gecko's eyes. Spiders and other venomous insects are not appropriate prey for the gecko.
QUARANTINE PERIOD
Please allow your gecko time to acclimate to its new environment. We allow our new reptiles at least 2 weeks before handling. Keep your new gecko in a room away from any other reptiles to minimize any spread of diseases. Monitor your gecko and look for any unexplainable weight loss, diarrhea, shedding issues, etc. If any of these issues appear within the 1 week mark, please let me know ASAP. Failure to do so negates any and all responsibilities I have with this situation.
If you do not follow the quarantine plan, and your animals get sick, this is not my responsibility.
HUMIDITY
Mist the gecko’s enclosure every day. If you have a humidity gauge, aim for 95% humidity once daily. It should drop to about 30-40% for most of the day. Mist once a day, save for the driest part of winter. You can also leave a shallow water dish in the enclosure to help with the humidity level.
Too much moisture can lead to skin issues; lack of moisture will lead to dehydration and death.
TAIL LOSS
GECKO TAILS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO STAY ON.
Sometimes geckos will drop their tails due to stress. This does not affect their health or breeding ability. If this happens, apply a topical antibiotic such as Neosporin (without the analgesic) and keep the enclosure clean and not too moist so that the tail stub can heal.
ACCIDENTS
Injuries sustained from accidents are not covered in the health guarantee.
Injuries can include:
Geckos jumping from five or more feet and landing on sharp surfaces
Cat or dog attacks
Children playing roughly with the gecko
Burns
Getting caught in enclosure doors
Choking on feeder insects
Losing tails
Overheating
Injuries from cage-mates
GENDER
Any animal that is described as “Male” or “Female” is guaranteed to be sexed properly TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY AND KNOWLEDGE.
Anything sold as “probable” or unsexed is not sex guaranteed. Pore sexing is done with a 60x loupe. A female not showing pores can suddenly develop them and turn out to be a male. This can happen up to 20 grams, so females are not guaranteed until over that weight.
Females sold as virgins have never been exposed to a male. They may lay infertile eggs.
Geckos sold as proven have mated successfully and produced live offspring.
COLOR CHANGE AND GENETICS
Geckos are not guaranteed to produce offspring of any particular color or morph. Often, they will have unexpected colors and patterns that look nothing like the parents. Geckos change color due to age, lighting, stress, or moisture level. Photos are as accurate to gecko color as possible. We only touch up photos by removing droppings or cropping. The seller is not responsible for any color not seen before shipping.
ALL GECKO PURCHASES ARE FINAL
Only order if you are 100% sure you have done your research on the species of gecko you have chosen and can afford to care for the gecko(s) properly. If there is a verifiable problem with the gecko upon arrival or within the parameters of our guarantee, we will assist you with store credit or a replacement gecko of equal value. If we (sellers) agree to a return, you are responsible for return shipping.
Any credits offered to the consumer can be applied to geckos that are more than 50% of the credit amount.
