Please read our all of our store policies before each purchase, as the terms and conditions are subject to change.
When it comes to shipping temperatures and the safety of our animals, we ship when WE are comfortable with the temperatures. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Temperatures include connection hub temps as well.
All animals are honestly represented. Animals are guaranteed to arrive to the customer safe, healthy and free of mites and ticks at the time of delivery. Each animal's sex is guaranteed. Customer must contact us within 48 hours if there are any issues. Thank you for understanding!
It is the customer’s responsibility to learn how to properly care for the animals they purchase. Herp Collectors cannot take responsibility for a customer’s lack of knowledge or poor husbandry skills. Please ensure that you have the requisite knowledge AND resources to properly care for any animals purchased from Herp Collectors or anywhere else.However, with that said, we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
AUCTIONS
Auctions are for U.S. residents within the lower 48 states only. Payments must be made within 24 hours (weekdays). Zelle or Cash App are the preferred methods of payment for auctions. Auctions not paid with either of those options are subject to a 3% card-processing fee.
SHIPPING
All animals will be shipped via FedEx Overnight in accordance with all rules and regulations. Shipping is limited to valid FedEx hub addresses in the lower 48. Unless indicated otherwise ahead of shipping, live arrival is guaranteed to your local FedEx hub to be held for pickup. Customer assumes risk if the customer requests a home shipment - live arrival is not guaranteed if not shipped to FedEx hub and held for pickup. Please note that a hub shipment is highly preferred and recommended, as this is safest for the animal(s).
Any DOAs must be reported with proof within an hour of pickup. Free shipping on orders over $1,000, unless otherwise stated in the ad.
THEORETICAL IDs
Visual recessives and recessive hets will always be properly identified. In terms of dominant and incomplete dominant (often labeled co-dominant) genes, we will do our very best to identify them based upon look and lineage. If there is any question on the genetics we will consult other experienced breeders in the field. Any remaining ambiguity will be fully disclosed to the customer. In most cases, we will list our pairings so that you can come to your own conclusion.
PAYMENT PLANS

Payment plans are reserved for orders over $500, and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Payment plans are available in 30 or 60 day durations for eligible orders under $3,000 and can be established with a 25% non-refundable deposit. Orders that are $3,000 and above can be considered for a 90-day payment plan with a 25% non-refundable deposit. After receiving initial payment, the animal will be placed on hold while the customer makes the remaining payments. Animals will be fed and maintained as usual with no extra charge to the customer. Once paid off, we will arrange shipping for your animal. We will never ship an animal before the customer completely pays for it, including shipping charges.
There will be NO REFUNDS ON PAYMENTS collected throughout the duration of the payment plan. Inability to pay off the payment plan will result in a loss of the non-refundable deposit with any funds in excess being turned into store credit that you may use towards any future purchase. Please do not enter into a payment plan unless you are certain you can pay as agreed.
