About
Welcome to KEW Geckos, we’re Kyle and Elise! We are a California-based couple offering incredible animals not easily found. We take pride in our collection, having built it by hand by selecting some of the best animals from the top breeders in the US. When putting our collection together we had a few goals in mind; genetic diversity, high contrast and color, and most of all, affordability. We want to work with you to get you the animal that you want, so let us know how we can help YOU! We currently work with Chahoua, Nephrurus, Strophurus, and Phelsuma, along with offering a variety of springtails and isopods.
Store Policy
Care and Husbandry
If you have any questions about husbandry, care, diet, or breeding for anything we keep, we will help you to the best of our ability! We are aware that there are many forms of success and many variables to consider so the information we share is what works best for us in our environment.
Diet
We raise and gutload our own feeders in house, so our animals are fed a variety of insects (Banded crickets, Dubia roach, and Red Runner Roach). We also sparingly feed waxworms (treat), mealworms (treat), and hydei fruit flies. We offer Pangea CGD, Repashy MRP, and Leapin Leachies to our New Caledonian geckos as well as our Phelsuma.
Discounts
Animals are priced according to current market prices, please do not ask for discounts on animals unless buying multiples. No exception, our animals are priced to move, and most are great value!
Pictures
We do our best to accurately represent our animals, using natural lighting whenever possible (outdoor indirect sunlight photos). Pictures are taken using an iphone 13 pro max with a lens. If you need additional photos, let us know. Please do not ask for photos if you just want to “look”, our time is precious to our growing family!
Terms and Conditions
By purchasing animals from KEW Geckos you agree to the following terms and conditions or all policies are null and void. Buyers must be at least 18 years of age or provide proof of parent approval.
Payments
Orders must be paid in full with cash, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal (F&F) before we even discuss shipping. We do not ship until payments are finalized, please plan accordingly.
We offer payment plans on a case by case basis. To put an animal on hold, we require a non-refundable 25% deposit ($100 minimum). Payment plans are 4 weeks maximum, unless other plans are mutually agreed upon. We understand that some animals are expensive and we encourage you to get you the animal that you desire! Note: If payment is not completed in full at the end of the payment plan period, the animal is subject to being re-listed and the initial deposit being retained. Non-refundable 25% deposits and restocking fees can be applied (once) to any future purchases in the event that “life” happens.
Shipping
We will ONLY ship reptiles overnight through Fedex using Redline shipping. USPS priority shipping is available for feeders. Note: No LAG with USPS priority shipping as we cannot control what happens once package are out of our hands.
If you experience a problem during shipping or receiving, let us know as we care about our customers satisfaction. We only ship Tuesday and Wednesday. We do not ship on Thursdays for Friday delivery, due to the possible event of a package being delayed over the weekend.
We do not ship in temperatures below 40 degrees or above 90 degrees! While we want to do business with you, the purchaser, the health of animals is our top priority. No exceptions!
Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
Live arrival Guarantee (LAG) for reptiles ONLY when held at Fedex hub. Anything beyond this is at our discretion, let us know how we may try to accommodate you. We understand that some of you live a great distance from a hub but we cannot offer a guarantee when animals are subject to being stuck on a delivery vehicle for hours.
Dead on Arrival (DOA)
If an animal arrives deceased (DOA), the buyer must contact/reach out to KEW Geckos promptly (within 1 hour of delivery from Fedex time stamp) with photographic and video proof. No refunds will be given, only store credit or replacement with a similar animal.
Dropped Tails
Dropped tails, while rarely happening to our animals, are not covered under any policy and are out of our control.
Holding Animals
We do not offer holds; animals must ship at the earliest convenience permitting weather and payment.
Health Guarantee
We offer a 48-hour health guarantee for our animals, if your animal falls ill within that period, please let us know. Again, our image is everything to us and we want to work together to reach a solution! Note: Our 48 -hour health guarantee does not include external injuries or those that are due to keeper error.
Note: Any issues should be resolved through private communications, any public post will nullify any afore-mentioned guarantee.
