Store Policy

STORE POLICY: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All sales are subject to the following:

No reptiles shall be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years of age without parental consent.

No reptiles will be shipped to any locales where it is prohibited by state and/or federal laws.

Animal Guarantee

We guarantee that any and all animals arrive alive, in good health, eating well, properly sexed and of the correct genetics as advertised. As such, shipping will only proceed during proper weather. If animals are delivered to your door, you must be there to accept the package or guarantees are void. If required to pick them up from a facility you must do so within same day or guarantees are void. If incorrect shipping information is given, guarantees are void. If you are unsatisfied in any way, we must be contacted within 24 hours of delivery.

Payment

Payment must be received in full before shipment or delivery of any animals. We accept the following forms of payment: Credit Cards, Paypal, Cashapp, Personal Checks and Money Orders. Personal checks must be cleared before animals are shipped. Please make checks payable to John Woodruff.

If you wish to set up a payment plan, please see the following plan guidelines. Payment plan must be agreed upon by both parties before deposit is accepted!

A 25% non refundable deposit is required upfront to hold an animal. The remaining balance must be paid within 90 days of initial deposit. If the buyer defaults on payment plan, the animal will be relisted. The buyer will receive a refund on money paid minus the deposit. The buyer will also be given the option to use money paid minus the deposit as store credit towards the purchase of a future animal instead of being refunded.

Returns

Madriver Serpents and Rattery LLC does not accept returns on live animal purchases unless the animal was dead on arrival or violated other animal guarantee. Please see our Animal Guarantee section for more information. Any return animals shipped to Madriver Serpents and Rattery without prior consent will be refused.

All sales are final and are not subject to return or refund!

Arrival of your Animal

When your animal arrives, open the container immediately and inspect the animals. If everything is okay, place the animal in it's enclosure with fresh water. Shipping is stressful for animals. Try not to handle or feed your new animal for several days. After 3 or 4 days you can attempt to offer your snake food. Do not be alarmed if it doesn't eat as it can sometimes take a few weeks for snakes to fully acclimate. During the first few feedings offer the same type of meal that it was fed at our facility. The information will be contained within the package you receive. If anything is suspicious, please don't hesitate to contact us.

NIDOVIRUS TESTING
If any customer prefers to test their animal(s) for Nidovirus, Madriver Serpents and Rattery will honor the test and issue a full refund in the event of a positive test, so long as the test is sent off with proof within 48 hours of receiving the animal and results are reported within 7 days. This means you will you will need to already have the test on hand before receiving your animal so you can take the sample and send it off right away after receiving your animal. In the event that the animal tests positive, the animal will need to be returned to Madriver Serpents and Rattery, shipping paid for by Madriver Serpents and Rattery. Once the animal is returned by the buyer and received by Madriver Serpents and Rattery, a full refund will be issued as well as compensation for the cost of the test. We value the health of all of our animals here at Madriver Serpents and Rattery and pride ourselves in offering good quality, healthy animals to our customers.
