About
We are leopard gecko hobbyists dedicated to the betterment of Eublepharis macularius. We breed high quality geckos. The health of our leopard geckos is of the utmost importance, we dedicate a lot time to ensure our geckos get supreme nutrition and enrichment. The leopard geckos that we have for pets are top quality! They are breeding quality, but we would rather see them go to loving pet homes, because of their wonderful personality and friendliness. At Mudd Pond Geckos, we breed for temperament and spend a lot time handling our geckos, so that you will have a fantastic pet!
We work with various morphs specializing in Bandits, Bolds, Firebolds, W/Y, and tangerines. Our tangerines are from electric & emerine lines.
Store Policy
ATTENTION: For the safety of our geckos we reserve the right to refuse a buyer from purchasing a gecko. By purchasing a gecko from Mudd Pond Geckos you agree to our terms.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase a gecko. If you are under 18 you will need the permission of your parents/guardians to purchase a gecko.
All geckos are sold on a first come, first serve basis.
Payment
We currently accept PayPal for payment. You do not need a PayPal account to send money.
We also accept CashApp
Holds and Cancellations
If you would like to place a gecko on hold, please contact us to work out an arrangement.
Once the gecko is paid in full, prior to shipping, you may switch geckos. However, if you change your mind or decided not purchase the gecko (for whatever reason) and we do not have another one you are interested in, you will be refunded the amount less a small service charge. If temperatures are not safe for shipping, we will hold geckos until temperatures are safe to ship.
Local Pick-Up is available to residents of Southern California.
Shipping
We charge a flat fee of $50.00 for shipping. We are currently shipping Tuesday or Wednesday. We ship through Reptiles2Ship and use the FED EX overnight priority.
At this time, we only ship to the continental 48 states.
Shipping costs cannot be refunded.
Our geckos’ safety is our number one priority, so we go above and beyond to ensure they arrive in good health. We only ship geckos that are over 15 grams.
We ship all of our geckos in their own container, secured in an insulated box, and cool packs or 72-hour heat packs are added if needed.
We will make arrangements with you to ship once payment is received.
Geckos are only shipped when temperatures are safe, not only at their destination, but at the Fed Ex hub, too. Acceptable temperatures are between 45-92 F. We do not ship during the holidays to avoid delays.
You will be notified if shipping needs to be delayed for any reason.
You will be given a tracking number, so you can check the progress of your gecko’s arrival.
Fed Ex usually delivers by 10:30 am, but they can deliver later or earlier, so someone must available to receive the gecko otherwise, all guarantees for live arrival are void.
If there are any problems email immediately and send a picture, so we can resolve the issue.
Guarantees
We guarantee our Geckos to be healthy and eating well prior to shipping and alive upon arrival.
In the unlikely event that a gecko does not arrive alive, you must contact us within two hours.
You (or another designated person) must be available when gecko is delivered. Failure to receive the package at the time of delivery will VOID any guarantees for live delivery. Geckos left outside will not be guaranteed. If there are any shipping problems contact us immediately.
You must notify us that your gecko was received and is safe within in two hours of the delivery time or all health guarantees are null and void.
We guarantee our geckos for 14 days that they are healthy, as long as proper husbandry is provide. Please contact us immediately if you are having any issues, so we can help you fix the problem. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the care of leopard geckos.
We do not guarantee tail drops, though this is not likely to occur in leopard geckos.
We guarantee any gecko that has been labeled male or female is guaranteed to be sexed correctly. We cannot guarantee any geckos that are temperature-sexed (TSF or TSM), possible/probable, or looking male/female.
We cannot guarantee temperament, though we do breed for more docile geckos. We also socialize our geckos and handle them frequently, in fact our adults frequently “ask” to come out and climb into our hands. However, every gecko has its individual personality and things such as age and breeding season can affect their temperament.
Genetics
All known genetic information will be disclosed. We will also make known any recessive traits and disclose all test breedings and where breeders were purchased from if they are not from our own lines, if you would like any of this information on the geckos that are available please contact us and we will provide you with this information.
We guarantee that all 100% hets are carrying that trait. We cannot guarantee possible hets, 66% or 50% hets to be carrying the trait.
Any geckos sold as pet only will not have their specific genetics or lines disclosed. They will receive all other health guarantees. We also do not sell any pet geckos with problems that will impact their well-being.
Our pet geckos are top quality and just as healthy as the breeder quality.
