About
Growing up I was always the “strange” kid that played with animals. My parents would get calls from camp about my adventures with garter snakes, or my mother would find earthworms in my pants pockets after they’d gone through the wash. Later in life I’d be diagnosed with Autism, which shouldn’t have been the surprise it was, as well as a genetic connective tissue disorder. While this limits my ability to work and function normally, it gives me time to pursue what I love. Kept from owning reptiles for most of my life, I set out in 2020 on a journey to finally fulfill my childhood dream and work with snakes. Noodle Haus is the culmination of that.
I decided from the start that my aim is to provide animals with quality temperaments alongside quality genetics. Meaning whether you’re a first timer looking for a pet, a seasoned keeper looking to add another noodle, or a breeder looking for new stock, you won’t be disappointed. All of my animals are kept as pets first, their health and happiness is prioritized over numbers. While this means offering fewer hatchlings each season, it allows one-on-one handling from the time they leave the egg until they leave for their new home. Store Policy
The health & safety of my animals is my top priority.
I guarantee live arrival of your new snake. To ensure this:
- I ship FedEx Priority Overnight via SYR or Redline
- Shipping availability is Monday - Wednesday ONLY, when temperatures are between 38ºF-95ºF at all stops
- All animals MUST be shipped to a FedEx Ship Center for pick-up, exceptions on a case-by-case basis
- All shipments are insured, no exceptions
- Shipping will be postponed if insurance is unavailable
Failure to pick up your animal within 4 hours of availability at the ship center or failure to accept residential delivery on the first attempt will render the live arrival guarantee VOID. In the unlikely event your animal is D.O.A., please notify us immediately. You must contact us within 4 hours of receipt to qualify for a refund or exchange. We will require photo and/or video documentation before any refund/exchange occurs.
Full payment must be received before the animal will be shipped. If shipping isn’t possible immediately, we will hold the animal without charge until shipping conditions improve.
Pricing:
You may notice my animals priced differently, often higher, than those with similar genetics from other breeders. This is due to the fact that I produce a much smaller number of hatchlings per year (<50), allowing me to focus on size, health, and 1:1 handling. While I understand this pricing may not be ideal, you are getting not just quality genetics, but a well-socialized, desensitized, and easily handled pet.
Shipping prices: While I would love to be able to offer flat rate shipping like some of the larger breeders out there, I am a small producer, and I don't ship that many animals per year. This means I do not qualify for any volume based discounts. I do not charge for shipping supplies, and shipment prices are based on the quote I receive from my shipper (using box dimensions, weight, & distance) + $2.50 per $100 of value for insurance. I do my best to pass as little on to my customers as possible, but unfortunately with FedEx's increasing prices, it's hard to compete as a small scale breeder.
