OMG, Snakes! is a tongue-in-cheek hobbyist breeder specializing in corn snakes and other colubrids. With over 15 years in the hobby and 10 years in the industry, I've provided public outreach and education on the importance of reptiles, invertebrates, and other exotics. My main focus is on encouraging best practices in husbandry and fostering a lifelong fascination with these amazing creatures.

Store Policy
Please Note:
To streamline the checkout process, pricing is being transitioned to a flat rate ($50) for Priority Overnight shipping via FedEx that will be included with the price of a snake. Looking for local pickup or multiple shipped snakes? No worries! Just let me know and I'll discount shipping costs accordingly.
Credit, debit, PayPal, and Venmo transactions accepted. Payment must be made within 48 hours of receipt of invoice.
Animals may be held with a non-refundable 50% deposit (not including shipping costs) for up to 60 days. Failure to complete purchase and arrange for shipping within this time will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Payment plans are available.
Payment must be made in full before animals are shipped or released.
FedEx is continuing to suspend live arrival and delivery window guarantees. I will assume responsibility for shipping risk as a courtesy, and I do ask that buyers consider having their purchase held at a FedEx hub whenever possible to ensure the safest travel scenario.
I ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays via SYR or Reptiles Express (whichever is the better value) FedEx Priority Overnight with Live Arrival Guarantee. At this time I am transitioning to included delivery costs with the price of a snake, but actual delivery costs range from $50-80. If you prefer to pay actual shipping costs, I am happy to offer a quote.
All animals will be packaged per FedEx guidelines with heating or cooling packs as appropriate. Temperatures must be above 40°F and below 90°F (35 °F and 95 °F if we're shipping to a hub) along the entire shipping route before we can safely ship. Should shipping become unsafe due to inclement weather, I will hold the animal at no additional charge until weather permits.
A private courier may be arranged at the buyer’s discretion. Pick-up or delivery within the greater Northern California/Central Valley area may also be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
All animals come with a sex and genetics guarantee and the buyer will be provided with all records related to health, growth, breeding, and feeding history, whenever available.
Temperament estimations are based on my personal history with the animal in a controlled and consistent environment. I take efforts to socialize snakes to the best of my ability, but they are not exposed to children, crowds, inexperienced handlers, or other pets. Temperaments are not guaranteed.
Customer service, guidance, and support is provided for the lifetime of the animal. Please feel free to reach out at any time.
Breeding adults are proactively screened for Cryptosporidium serpentis before each breeding season, but individual hatchlings will not be tested prior to sale unless otherwise stated in individual listings. Buyers are encouraged to test for crypto upon arrival and to adhere to proper quarantine procedures with all new animals.
Policy regarding crypto testing:
- Buyer must swab and ship the sample to the lab within 2 business days of receiving the animal. Photographic proof of this is required in the event of a positive result and/or dispute.
- Tests ordered must be a DNA species type test or Cryptosporidium panel showing species type.
- If test results come back positive within 4 weeks of the time the test kit was shipped, then buyer has the option to return the animal for full refund including shipping costs.
