About
We are a small, hobby breeder located in Gastonia, North Carolina (USA) specializing in Crested Geckos, Gargoyle Geckos and customer service. Our goal is to provide high quality animals and a stress-free online buying experience.
When purchasing from RilWater Reptiles, you can feel confident that the animal you receive and its parents have been cared for as beloved pets every day they are with us. We are open about how all of our animals are housed and cared for and will provide photos of any animal’s living conditions you wish to see.
Our photos are never edited for color and provide the most accurate representation of the animal as possible. We strive to keep photos of our available animals current and have additional photos of every animal on hand if requested.
Our breeders are never paired before reaching 2 years of age and a minimum of 45g in weight. They spend no more than 3 weeks together at the beginning of the season before being returned to individual habitats.
We provided all of our animals varied diet based on the best brands of prepared CGD and live insects available. Repashy Original, Repashy Grubs and Fruit, BPZ Original, Pangea Fruit and Bugs, dubia roaches, and crickets make up the foundation of our feeding rotation.

Store Policy
RilWater Reptiles Terms and Conditions of Sale:
1) By sending payment or deposit, you are confirming that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions of sale.
2) RilWater Reptiles reserves the right to deny the sale of any animal to any customer over concerns of improper care.
3) Deposits and payments are non-refundable. To protect the customer, RilWater Reptiles must be contacted through Facebook messenger, email or text to confirm sale before any initial payment is sent.
4) RILWATER REPTILES NO LONGER OFFERS PAYMENT PLANS/HOLDS - An animal will remain for sale until it is paid in full.
5) RilWater Reptiles is not responsible for the health or life of any animal once it has been in the care of the customer for 24 hours.
6) Should an animal greater than 5g in weight and $35 in price die within 24hrs of arrival, a refund of half the purchase price excluding shipping may be provided under the following conditions:
a. RilWater Reptiles must be notified of the death within 24hrs of a live animal being received by the customer.
b. No fewer than 5 clear photos or a clear video of at least 1 minute in duration of the deceased animal must be provided by the customer via Facebook messenger, Morph Market messenger or email.
c. No fewer than 5 clear photos of the animal’s full habitat must be provided by the customer via Facebook messenger or email.
d. The customer must establish that environmental and care conditions such as temperature, humidity, habitat decorations, diet, and human handling where not the cause of animal injury or death. Rilwater Reptiles may request additional information or photos for this purpose before agreeing to a refund
7) Should an animal be delivered DOA (dead on arrival) RilWater reptiles must be contacted within 30 minutes of the animal’s delivery. If the customer is not present to receive an animal at time of a home delivery, or does not pick up a hub delivery on the day of arrival, RilWater Reptiles is not responsible for the health or condition of the animal.
8) Tail drop is a natural phenomenon in crested geckos. No refund or discount will be provided for animals that drop their tail before, during or after shipment once a sale is initiated.
9) You must be 18 years or older to purchase from RilWater Reptiles. If you are under 18, a parent must be the one to make contact with me and arrange the sale.
PORE SEXING
The sex of animals under 20g for cresteds and 30g for gargoyles is not guaranteed. Posted sex is always my best assessment, but some geckos are sneaky until maturity.
SAFE SHIPPING POLICY
● Shipping available within the continental US only.
● Overnight lows must be above 40F and day time highs must be under 90F at your location and mine. If an animal is purchased outside of shipping weather, it will be held at no extra cost until there is safe weather.
● Shipping is completed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for next day delivery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays only.
● Shipping to a local hub for pick up avoids many delays, and is always safest when
temperatures are at the low and high end of the shipping range. Because of this, I prefer to ship to a hub whenever possible. I can also ship to your home or office if a pick up is not possible. You will just need to confirm that someone will be present the entire day to receive and acknowledge the possibility of a delay.
● Holidays and FedEx closures may impact shipping.
OFFERS AND TRADES
● all reasonable OFFERS considered. Send me a message, and I will either accept, decline or counter offer.
● TRADES will be considered, but are not often accepted. I am picky, and only open to bringing in very specific animals at any given time. If you are not an established breeder, someone I have done business with before, or someone I know personally, trades will be conducted through PayPal. You purchase my animal(s) and I purchase yours.
AUCTIONS
● No exports! I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I do not export at this time.
● Shipping is extra. Usually $85 - $100
● Payment for a won auction is due within 48hrs or sale is void.
● If you do not respond to contact within 48hrs of winning an auction, sale is void.
● Shipping is weather dependent. Please read through my shipping policy before placing a bid. No refunds will be issued if a reasonable wait for safe shipping weather is deemed necessary.
