Welcome to So Surreal Serpents!
We are a specialty shop of various ball python morphs! We offer a curated selection of exceptional pets in prime health. Each of our animals comes with a detailed hatchling card, including pairing information, hatch date, shed dates, weight, feedings, and all other important notes. Our Story:
I’m Alexis, and my journey as a reptile enthusiast began in 2016. What started as a simple hobby quickly transformed into a deep passion for these incredible creatures. In 2018, I took the leap into breeding and founded So Surreal Serpents. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to acquiring and producing stunningly high-quality ball pythons for you to add to your own collection.
In 2021, Aaron joined the team, bringing extensive expertise to our TSK Axanthic projects. Together, we are focused on our main recessive projects: Pieds, Clowns, and TSK Axanthics.

Store Policy
Genetics & Sex:
Our animal's are 100% guaranteed captive bred and healthy. We use the "popping" method to properly sex our animals. We would like to note, mistakes may happen on incredibly rare occasions. We advise to always double check the sex of your animal upon arrival only if you are capable of doing so safely. All 100% heterozygous animals are genetically guaranteed; although, some multiple gene homozygous animals can be more difficult to genetically guarantee. We do make every attempt to list the genetics accurately, to the best of our ability, and by utilizing every resource available. Although, we will always state any concern we may have when we are not definite. Please understand the risk when purchasing multi-gene animals.
Lineage Tracking:
All animals produced by us are assigned a unique identification code for record keeping. They will come with a hatchling card that entails information regarding theoretical ID, the ID of the dam and sire, hatch date, all recorded weights, sheds and feedings.
Payment Methods:
All digital payments will be received through a Square invoice (ACH bank transfer) or Zelle. We can also accept Afterpay through Square invoice with any animal up to $4,000 with a 6% surcharge. By choosing this payment method we can ship/deliver your animal as soon as possible while you make payments to Afterpay, no waiting around until they are paid off! And as always, cash is accepted during local pick ups.
Payment Plans:
We do accept and welcome 30 day payment plans on our animals starting at $400. All other animals priced $1,000 and above will be allotted a 60 day payment plan. Every payment plan will require a 25% non-refundable deposit due at time of purchase to reserve the animal. If you fail to pay the balance before the agreed upon due date, any and all payments received will be forfeited and the animal will be made available once again.
Payment plan breakdown:
$5-$399 must be paid in full
$400-$999 can be placed on a 30 day payment plan with a 25% non-refundable deposit.
$1,000+ can be placed on a 60 day payment plan with a 25% non-refundable deposit.
Shipping Costs:
The buyer will be responsible for paying the shipping fee in full where applicable. All shipping quotes are based upon the animal's final destination, the weight of the animal and the size of the required box. The average shipping range is $50-$100. All animals priced $1,000+ will ship for no additional cost. We would like to note, we add on live arrival insurance for every box shipped. If the package can not be insured it will not be shipped that week. In the rare event the shipment arrives late the shipping fee will be refunded to the buyer (excludes all packages that were shipped at the expense of the seller.)
Shipping Terms:
All animals are shipped through FedEx overnight priority mail, via Redline Shipping, in compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, in clearly marked, labeled, and properly packed boxes during temperatures of 85°F - 40°F. As of now we are only able to ship on Wednesdays for next day arrival. Please consider if this will work with your schedule before inquiring. A tracking number will be provided for every box shipped. Live arrival is guaranteed only when shipping to your local FedEx Ship Center AND is picked up within two hours of arrival. We do not offer residential delivery, only hub-to-hub. In the rare event an animal is DOA you have two hours from the timestamp of the animal's arrival to make a claim for a replacement animal of equal value, store credit or a refund (all options exclude shipping costs.) You must provide a video proving the animal is deceased when filing a claim. Failure to comply with these terms will void any guarantees. In the case the animal is picked up past the two hour grace period the customer must assume the risk and the live arrival guarantee will be void.
Google Document Form:
All new and returning customers must complete a ten question Google doc form that will be provided via web link. This form gives us all of the necessary information to keep track of your order and to ensure your animal is being shipped to the correct location. There are a couple of additional questions to ensure customer satisfaction before signing our terms and conditions with your initials at the end. Refusal to complete the form will result in a voided transaction.
Final Sale/No Refunds/No Returns:
We are always more than happy to answer any questions regarding husbandry, but we can not be held liable for any issues that arise after 72 hours of being in your care. Once the animal has left our custody we no longer control the environment it is in. Please inform us immediately if there is an issue upon arrival.
We hold the right to refuse selling to anyone who we believe is inadequate to giving the animal proper care at any point in the transaction. A full refund including any deposits will be given if this occurs.

Wholesale pricing must be bundled with a minimum of (3) animals to qualify.
No payment plans will be available and regular shipping rates apply. Orders over $1,000 will include free shipping.
