*NOTE* due to the unforseen circumstances with COVID-19, we're only shipping animals Tuesdays for Hub pickup.
All sales are subject to the following:
No reptiles shall be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years without parental consent.
Reptiles will not be shipped to any locales where it is prohibited by state and/or federal laws.

Ordering & Shipping
Please feel free to order animals via this website or call us anytime to order over the telephone. Shipping is a flat rate $50 to the lower 48 states for animals under 400g. Buyer pays actual shipping costs for animals over 400g and to Alaska and Puerto Rico as well as costs for the animal health certificate (for PR only). We ship out Mon-Wed. If using PayPal for your payment method, we will only use the address linked to the account. We will not ship animals until we have spoken to you and agreed upon shipping methods and dates.
Animal Guarantee
We guarantee that any and all animals arrive alive, in good health, eating well, properly sexed and of the correct genetics as advertised. As such, shipping will only proceed during proper weather. If animals are delivered to your door, you must be there to accept the packages or guarantees are void. If required to pick them up from a facility, you must do so within two hours or guarantees are void. If incorrect shipping information is given, guarantees are void. If you are unsatisfied in any way, we must be contacted within 24 hours of delivery.
Payment
Payment must be received in full before shipment or delivery of any animals. We accept the following forms of payment: Wire transfers, Zelle and Paypal (F&F)
30 day payment plans are available for purchases of $400 or more with a 25% non-refundable deposit. If you wish to setup a payment plan, please contact us for details. All payments made are transferable but non-refundable.
Returns
Scale On Up Reptiles does not accept returns on live animal purchases unless the animal was dead on arrival or violated our animal guarantee. Please see our Animal Guarantee section for more information. Any refunds for returned animals shipped to Scale On Up Reptiles without prior consent will be refused and animals forfeit.
Arrival of your Animal
When your animal arrives, open the containers immediately and inspect it. If everything is okay, place the animal in its cage with fresh water. Shipping is a stressful time for animals. Try not to handle or feed your animal for several days, allowing it acclimate to its new environment. After 3 or 4 days you can attempt to feed your snake. However, if it doesn’t eat, don’t be alarmed as it sometimes takes a few weeks for snakes to fully acclimate. During the first few feedings offer the same meal type as it was fed at our facility. This information will be contained within your package. If anything is suspicious, please don’t hesitate to call us.
Trade requests
Sometimes we accept trades for certain animals. If you come to us with a trade offer, and we accept, you will be the first to ship the animal. Once we receive the animal in advertised condition, only then will we ship. This is non negotiable so please make sure it's understood before making a trade offer.
Sexing Policy
We guarantee that animals that are sold as “sexed” animals will be accurately sexed. In the event an animal is mis-sexed, Customer must provide written notification to us within two weeks of receiving the animal. After the expiration of the two-week period, we will no longer be responsible for mis-sexed animals.
DOA
In the event of a DOA we must be notified within one hour of arrival. We will require pictures of the inside of the package as well as two pictures of the deceased animal (one view from the top and one of the animal on its back to show its deceased). Once we receive the required info we will then either send an identical replacement animal or apply the funds towards another animal. Refunds are handled on a case by case basis and will only be applied in the event we don't have replacement animal available.
