Store Policy
Payment Options: All transactions are done via Venmo, Zelle, and Square.
Payment plans are available on animals over $350 excluding shipping. For all payment plans a payment must be made once every two weeks minimum or the animal may be taken off hold and deposit may be lost.
The Breeding Lab works with many rare and uncommon species that can only be established in captivity by initial generations being field collected. Many of these species have never been or are rarely offered to the general public. We ask that buyers understand wild caught animals are not intended to be "pets" but to become breeding stock to further captive produced populations. For this reason, buyers should have breeding plans in mind and understand the risks of receiving wild caught specimens. If an animal is marked "wild caught" it is best for the buyer to assume it has not been treated for internal parasites if it is not clearly stated in listing description. Animals will not be sold if there is even a possibility of immediate health issues, but buyers should understand proper acclimation and husbandry is the buyers responsibility once the buyer receives an animal.
For animals $350-$1000 a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to place animal on hold and balance must be paid within 30 days.
For animals $1000 and up 45 day and 60 day payment plans are available. For a 45 day payment plan a 25% non-refundable deposit is required. For a 60 day payment plan a 35% non-refundable deposit is required.
Turtle/Tortoise Policy: Buyer agrees and understands that all turtles or tortoises sold under 4 inches are for export, educational, research or zoological purposes only. They are not sold as pets.
Shipping Policy: All shipping is done only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays WEATHER PERMITTING. Shipping will not be done in temperatures lower than 40F or higher than 95F NO EXCEPTIONS. Shipping can range anywhere from $50-$100 depending on zip code and size of animal. We only guarantee live arrival if the animal(s) are shipped to a Fedex Hub. If buyer requests it be shipped to their home they assume the risks of possible delays. We will not ship to any apartment complex or business. Buyer must have package shipped to a house or a Fedex hub for pickup. The buyer understands that the animal(s) may need to be held until it is safe to ship. We will never risk the health of the animal just so the buyer may receive their animal faster. The animal(s) well being is priority.
Refund Policy: The Breeding Laboratory's refund policy is simple. The only time a full refund will be issued is if there is a DOA. In which case, the buyer will need to contact seller immediately within 30 minutes of initial pickup time. No exceptions. Buyer is required to provide photo and video evidence in such cases to receive refund.
