At The Jungle Vault, we offer lifetime support for all our animals. You are always welcome to contact us with husbandry questions or any concerns. Our goal is to ensure our customers are 100% satisfied and that their animals are happy and healthy. When possible, we provide your new pet's identification card, lineage, and past feeding history to set you up for success.
***SALES POLICY FOR HOGNOSE & BOIGA***
Customers interested in purchasing Hognose or Boiga species must review and comply with all relevant provincial, municipal, state, and federal regulations. The Jungle Vault assumes no responsibility for any failure to adhere to these laws. Boiga species will only be sold to individuals 21 years of age or older. Where applicable, proof of a venomous permit is required for the purchase of Boiga species. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure full compliance with all legal requirements for ownership.
***PAYMENT & PAYMENT PLANS***
A non-refundable deposit is required to hold any animal. A 50% deposit is required to hold animals up to $500 in value and 25% for any animal over $500. All payments made via Square are subject to a 3% non-refundable processing fee.
The Jungle Vault offers 30-day and 60-day financing options for high-value purchases. Our 30-day plan covers purchases up to $1000. The 60-day plan is available for all purchases over $1000 to $5000. Please contact us to discuss payment plans for purchases greater than $5000. Payment plans do not apply to animals won at auction; all auctions must be paid within 24 hours or the auction will be considered forfeit.
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure all payments are made within the required time frame. Payments may be made when convenient as long as they are within the agreed term. Failure to provide payment within the given timeframe or wishing to cancel will be considered a broken payment plan. Broken payment plans will not be issued any refunds. All installments and deposits are non-refundable. If the animal placed on hold falls ill or expires, the buyer will be refunded, including the deposit.
***SHIPPING***
We offer shipping through Reptile Express and Reptile Runner across Canada and the United States. For inquiries in Europe, the United Kingdom, and Asia, please contact us.
Live arrival guarantee is covered for hub pick-up only. Door delivery service voids our live arrival guarantee - no exceptions.
Shipping temperatures must be in a safe range to ship (40°F - 90°F), and someone must be available to sign for the package upon delivery or pickup at a local hub. We are happy to hold animals until the daytime and overnight shipping temperatures are within a safe range.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate shipping address information. We will not be responsible for any DOAs or additional shipping costs incurred due to an incorrect shipping address. If a redirection of the package is required, the customer will be required to pay any additional fees to deliver the package. All guarantees regarding live arrival will be void.
In the rare case of a DOA during shipping, the buyer must contact us within 1 hour of receiving the animal—no exceptions. Photographic proof of the expired animal and shipping box will be required in all cases. The Jungle Vault will handle shipping DOAs on a case-by-case basis. Deposits and shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
***HEALTH GUARANTEE***
We guarantee all animals to be in perfect health at the time of sale unless otherwise stated. The Jungle Vault guarantees animals for 24 hours, starting once the buyer receives their animal. Please contact us within 5 hours if there is a health issue so that we may assist the best we can. Failure to do so will void the guarantee.
Our health guarantee does not cover damage or injuries incurred to the animal once it has left our care, including but not limited to dehydration, burns, hypothermia, hyperthermia, drowning, or choking. This guarantee also does not cover husbandry related concerns or tail loss for geckos.
Health guarantees will be handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
***SEXING POLICY***
Animals sold as "possible" sex are not eligible for our sexing guarantee. The Jungle Vault will provide no refunds or exchanges if animals sold as unsexed turn out to be male or female at the time of pickup/shipping. If a sexed animal is purchased and there is an error in sexing, we will exchange the animal for one of the correct sex. Photographic proof of the error is required. Return shipping will be at the buyer's expense.
***COLOURS***
The Jungle Vault does not alter the colour of its animals. We strive to provide clear and accurate photos of each animal in the best light to appear true to life. Due to various species' ability to "fire up and down" and the colour calibration of different screens, we do not offer guarantees on colour. Animals purchased may appear differently in person than on screen. Animals received that do not meet the customer's expectations based on colour are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
