Missed payments or cancellation requests are considered a breach of the payment plan and will result in the forfeiture of all paid amounts. Deposits and partial payments are non-refundable. If the held animal becomes ill or passes away before shipping, the buyer will receive a full refund, including the deposit.

Shipping will only proceed when safe temperatures are forecasted (40ยฐFโ90ยฐF). Someone must be available to sign for the package or pick up the animal promptly.
It is the customerโs responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not liable for any delays, DOA incidents, or fees arising from incorrect information or missed deliveries. If redirection is required, any additional delivery charges will be the customerโs responsibility. All guarantees regarding live arrival are void if the shipment is misrouted or delayed due to address errors.
In the rare event of a deceased on arrival (DOA), the buyer must contact us within one hour of receiving the animal. Clear photographic evidence of the deceased animal and the original shipping box is required. Each DOA situation is handled on a case-by-case basis. Shipping fees and deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

We strongly recommend hub pickups as the safest and least stressful delivery method. Hubs are climate-controlled and offer secure holding, protecting your animal from temperature extremes, rough handling, and delays associated with home delivery.
We offer residential shipping upon request; however, please note that live arrival is not guaranteed for home deliveries under any circumstances due to the increased risk of damage during transit.

If the animal appears ill or perishes within 48 hours of receipt, the buyer must notify us within that 48-hour window. In the event of illness, a report from a licensed veterinarian must be submitted within 72 hours of the report. In the case of death, a necropsy conducted and signed by a licensed veterinarian is required within 24 hours of the animalโs passing. The buyer must inform us of their intent to pursue a necropsy before submitting the animal for examination. Proper storage is essential for accurate resultsโthe animal must be kept cool (not frozen) and delivered to the vet within 24 hours.
If the necropsy reveals that the animalโs death was due to a pre-existing condition present at the time of sale, The Jungle Vault will work with the buyer to offer a fair resolution. This may include a replacement animal of equal value and quality, store credit, or a credit toward a future purchase.
Our health guarantee does not cover injuries or damage that occur after delivery at the fault of the buyer, including but not limited to: physical injuries, dehydration, burns, temperature-related stress, choking, escape, or drowning. It also does not apply to improper husbandry or tail loss in geckos.

Animals sold as โpossibleโ sex or unsexed are not covered under our sexing guarantee. If a sexed animal is incorrectly sexed, we will offer an exchange for one of the correct sex if available, or a discount toward a future purchase of a properly sexed animal. Photographic proof of the error is required. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

The Jungle Vault does not alter the colour of its animals. We strive to provide clear and accurate photos of each animal under good lighting to represent each animal as accurately as possible. However, due to screen calibration differences and the natural colour changes some species undergo (such as firing up or down), we cannot guarantee exact colour representation.
Animals purchased may appear differently in person than on screen. Animals that do not meet the customer's expectations based on colour are not eligible for a refund or exchange - no exceptions.

Payments cannot be applied to other animals or future purchases in the event of a cancellation, change of mind, or failure to complete a payment plan.
The only exception to this policy is if an animal becomes unfit for sale due to illness or death before shipping, in which case a full refund will be issued to the original purchaser.
Refunds will not be granted due to personal circumstances, regulatory issues, failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe, or dissatisfaction with the animalโs appearance upon arrival (including size, colour variation, or behaviour).

All buyers are expected to provide humane and species-appropriate care for the animals they purchase from The Jungle Vault. This includes consistent access to appropriate food and fresh water, maintaining clean and sanitary living conditions, and providing suitable housing that meets the animalโs needs for temperature, humidity, and space. Animals known to be solitary must be housed alone to avoid unnecessary stress or resource competition. Veterinary care must be sought promptly in the event of illness or injury.
If an animal is purchased with breeding intentions, the buyer agrees to wait a minimum of 90 days after receiving the animal before attempting any breeding, allowing for proper acclimation. Buyers must not breed animals that are underage, underweight, or otherwise unfit for reproduction. The Jungle Vault expects all customers to adhere to ethical breeding practices and maintain high standards of animal welfare. Failure to meet these standards will result in the refusal of future sales.

The Jungle Vault reserves the right to refuse a sale to any individual at any time for any reason. We maintain and honour a "do not sell" list in the interest of protecting the safety and well-being of the animals we produce and care for.
