The Royal Nest Reptiles is a small reptile business owned by Holly Jenkins.

We specialize in various snake species, mainly ball pythons and plains hognoses at the moment, and are planning to work with more in the future.

Our goal is to provide quality animals and the knowledge to care for them to those who are new to the hobby or are just looking for a pet. We hope to make a positive impact on the reptile community as a whole!

AS USED HEREIN, THE TERMS “YOU” AND “BUYER” SHALL MEAN ANY PERSON PURCHASING FROM US.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By making any purchase(s) from The Royal Nest Reptiles, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions below. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice in our sole discretion. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not purchase anything from us.

*GENERAL*
Serious inquiries only, please.
You must be the age of 18 years or older to make a purchase from us.

For animals on payment plans: We do accept requests to attempt transitioning animals eating live to f/t.
This is NOT a guarantee that we will be successful at doing so, however. Some snakes will refuse f/t no matter what, and we cannot control that.
Please be sure that in this case, you will be able to obtain live feeders from a local source.
We will not offer refunds or any sort of compensation if we are unable to transition them by the time they are paid off and it is time to ship.

We are certain every animal that leaves is in perfect condition (unless otherwise specified) and cannot be liable for an animal once it is in a customer's care, as there is no telling if they will keep the animal in proper husbandry.

Genetics are guaranteed for all animals we have produced. For those that were not produced by us, we will provide what information we have and answer any questions to the best of our ability. If we do not have the answers, we may redirect you to the breeder they were purchased from for more information.

We guarantee that any animal sold as a male or female has been properly sexed. In the event you receive an animal that has been incorrectly sexed we will replace it. Upon arriving alive and healthy back at our facility and being proven incorrectly sexed a replacement animal will be sent.
If an acceptable replacement is not available then a full refund shall be issued.

Please ensure that you have done your due diligence in research on the species you are purchasing, and have proper enclosure(s) ready prior to shipment/pickup.


*PAYMENTS*
Payments accepted via Square invoice, Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo. USD only. Prices are firm unless otherwise specified.

Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances besides those listed below:
Animal is DOA (Dead on Arrival) -- photo proof must be given 1 hr upon delivery
Animal is incorrectly sexed, and a replacement is not available (see above)
If we (the seller) back out of the sale for any reason or lack thereof

Sometimes trades or partial trades will be considered. Do not hesitate to make a trade offer -- the worst I can say is no or make a counter offer.
In the event a trade is agreed upon it is the buyers responsibility to ship the animals first. Upon their safe arrival and inspection that the animals are healthy and as described, I will then ship the animals that the buyer was trading for.
It is not expected for us to ship animals before receiving cash and I am not willing to take the risk just because it is a trade instead of a cash transaction.


*PAYMENT PLANS*
Payment plans are available for all animals for sale. A 25% minimum non-refundable deposit of the purchase total must be made up front, which will put the animal(s) on hold for you.

We typically give 30-90 day periods for the payment to be made in full -- However, the time frame given to pay it off in full is done on a case-by-case basis, so please do not be afraid to make an inquiry!
We are willing to work with customers within reason, and want to provide the best experience we can.

For hatchlings that are not quite ready for their new homes (i.e. hatchling ball pythons that haven’t eaten the minimum number of meals yet), we do not go by the usual 30-90 day payment period.
Instead, once the hatchling is deemed ready for their new home, you will be given a 2 week grace period to pay the remaining balance in full by default.

It is always much more preferred when a customer keeps in contact and makes frequent payments no matter how small just to show us that the payment plan is a priority and the customer is doing what they can to finish the payment plan in a timely manner.

Extensions on payment plans may be granted if the buyer is actively communicating with us. Sometimes things come up and we likely will not have any issue giving you a little wiggle room. This is also on a case-by-case basis and is not something we guarantee.

If you fail to complete a payment plan, you may be blacklisted from using our payment plan service. You will still be allowed to purchase animals from us, even animals that are listed as “deposit only”, but you will need to make the entire payment in full upfront.

In the case of a cancellation of a payment plan, no refunds are given. Any payments made can be applied as credit towards a future purchase.


*SHIPPING*
Shipping is $45-$80. Please contact us for an exact quote. We ship anywhere within the continental US. Delivery date must be mutually agreed upon by both parties.
We typically ship Monday-Thursday to be delivered overnight on Tuesday-Friday.
Shipping is through Ship Your Reptiles and any guidelines posted regarding shipping will always be followed, especially regarding no-ship periods or special circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
All guidelines pertaining to temperatures will be followed.

Buyer must be willing to have the animal shipped to their local FedEx hub, which requires pickup with a photo ID.
This is to ensure the safety of the animal, as the facilities are climate-controlled and would not subject the animal(s) to any extreme temperatures.
You must pick up within 2 hours of package availability, or the live arrival guarantee is null and void.
For all DOAs we will need a picture of the deceased animals and to contact us within an hour of delivery.

CURRENT SHIPPING STATUS:
Due to COVID-19, we will only be shipping on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is due to the increase in delays with FedEx, and we do not want to put the animals at risk.

The 2020 Holiday No-Ship Period ends on January 11th, 2021.
