About

We are working with Western Hognoses, Spotted Pythons, Coastal and Papuan Carpet Pythons, and 10 species of both common and rare Isopods (expect more soon). More projects and species are planned!

Spurred by a passion for animals and conservation, MHI is a small business dedicated to breeding genetically sound and beautiful animals. It currently resides out of a converted garage of the McGuire household.

Store Policy

We can schedule a call, text, or Zoom call to answer questions or show you the animal. Please do not hesitate to reach out, I (Will) can talk reptiles and isopods all day!

Each animal will come with a digital care guide, and herps will come with a digital lineage sheet. These sheets will also be archived for download on our site.

The preferred payment method is Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo. Credit cards are available on both MM and our site but add a 3% fee.

All shipping will be to a local hub and includes LAG.

*We will schedule a ship date with each buyer within 48 hours of receiving payment. We will only ship if weather and temperature allow, and we will do our best to communicate delays or changes in the most timely manner possible.*

2% of all sales go to nonprofits. The breakdown is: 1% to USARK, .5% to the Center for Biological Diversity, and .5% goes to the National Wildlife Federation.

We are veteran-owned and operated. We offer a military, first responder, teacher, or first snake owner discount; just ask!
