About
Aesir Exotics is a hobby breeder of crested geckos (Correlophus ciliatus) located in northeastern Ohio. We aim to produce high end, well structured animals with good amounts of pattern and color.
Store Policy
Payment is accepted through Paypal only - no exceptions. I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone at any time without disclosing reasoning.
[ Deposits & Payment Plans ]
A 25% deposit is required in order to hold any gecko. A gecko will not be held until the deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable.
Payment plans are available on any gecko over 150$ and require a 25% deposit to hold. Payment plans must be completed and geckos paid in full within 30 days of the deposit, unless other arrangements have been previously discussed and agreed upon. Geckos will not be shipped/picked up until paid in full. Should you fail to complete your payments within the agreed upon time period and do not reach out to me, the gecko in question will be relisted for sale, and all payments made, excluding deposit, will become store credit - no cash refunds will be made.
If, for whatever reason, you are unable to make payments, please contact me. I understand that life happens and I am willing to work with you.
[ Shipping ]
Shipments of live animals are done through Reptiles2You. Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and services.
Shipping is done Monday through Wednesday for arrival Tuesday through Thursday. Shipping is only done when temperatures are below 80 and above 40 along the entire shipment journey. Packages should arrive by 10:30am, but can arrive as late as 4:30pm, depending upon location. For this reason, I prefer to ship geckos to be held at a local FedEx hub for the safety and comfort of the animal where ever possible. I am not responsible for carrier delay.
Animals are guaranteed alive and healthy upon arrival.
Someone must be able to receive the animal at arrival time. Notification of arrival must be sent to me within 2 hours of delivery. If either of these conditions are not met, should your animal be DOA (dead on arrival), it will void my guarantee. In the rare event of a DOA, I may request photos - please do not dispose of anything until we've discussed our next steps. Geckos will be reimbursed for credit or replaced with a gecko of similar quality.
Please be aware that tail loss can occur at any time, especially in cases of high stress, and while tail loss during shipping is rare, it has been known to happen on occasion. I am not responsible for tails lost in shipping and will not offer any refunds in the event of tail loss.
Once the animal is in your hands, the health and well-being of it is your responsibility. Please ensure you have a proper enclosure with acceptable food ready for when your gecko arrives. If you require any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to me regarding husbandry.
[ Sex ]
I do not guarantee sex unless a gecko is clearly listed as male or female. Animals listed with probable, possible, pores seen or unseen are not a guarantee of sex - these are simply what I am seeing at the time. Geckos listed as proven have produced live offspring. Females listed as virgin have never been bred to a male.
