Jaguar removes head patterning and has heavier blushing than a Normal ball python.
The body of the Jag ball python expresses reduced banded pattern and brighter color.
Few breeders throughout the years have coined ball python dinker projects “Jaguar”, however these have either turned out to be non-genetic, one off animals, or have failed to continue through further breeding efforts.
To further add confusion to the name, Jaguar is a term that some members of the community used to throw around to label animals that had disrupted patterns due to environmental/incubation issues which, while it affected the pattern, wasn’t heritable. [1]
