Shipping

Shipping days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We have been having all live animal shipments held at the nearest FedEx hub to the destination to ensure the safe delivery of the animal unless otherwise agreed upon, certain home deliveries may void any live arrival guarantees. FedEx has been experiencing heavy volume delays, so for the foreseeable future, we are requiring live animal purchases to be picked up at the nearest hub (unless expressly agreed upon between Ms. Understood Exotics and you the customer).

We will not ship until temps are above 20*F and under 90*F. We utilize styrofoam insulated boxes, heat packs, cool packs and high-quality packing equipment to ensure the safety of the animals while in transit

Payment plans are only accepted on any animal over $500. To start a payment-plan, a minimum deposit of $75 or 10% of the total animal price (whichever is cheaper) is required to place the animal on hold. This will guarantee the animal is held for you for the next 30 days. If, you, the customer does not pay within the specified period, the deposit is forfeited, the animal will be placed back onto the store as a for sale animal. If you place an order with us and choose to cancel for whatever reason, we retain 50%, the cost of our nonrefundable deposit, as a restocking fee.

Genetics

We will provide any customer full records of dame and sire upon request and retain records from every breeding season. In 2021 will cycled in all new breeder snakes for whom we have genetic records, from that point forward, we will be retaining project records for any animal you may be interested in. We do our best to identify and represent all genetics honestly and will specify if any uncertainty exists about the animals’ genetics. In the case of CoDom animals, we will do our best to identify them to the exact gene combo but will let the customer know when there is some uncertainty remaining. Please be aware that due to increased project complexity, certain animals require an educated guess to identify and thus CoDom genetics cannot be 100% guaranteed.
